Project Overview
Eternity is a panel graphic design concept created for the 2019 Samsung BESPOKE design competition. It translates the sun, moon, mountains, and waves of Ilwolobongdo into a geometric composition across the refrigerator’s doors.
Design Concept
Eternity translates Ilwolobongdo—the Korean royal painting of the sun, moon, and five peaks—into a geometric composition for Samsung BESPOKE refrigerator panels.
Circular accents, an architectural arch, and repeated wave patterns reinterpret the painting’s elements across the appliance’s doors.

Design Details
Sun & Moon
Red and cream circles reinterpret the sun and moon as two focal points on the upper doors.
Central Arch
A darker blue arch spans the central composition, translating the mountain motif into a single geometric form.
Wave Pattern
Repeated bronze-colored lines bring detail to the lower panels, contrasting with the broad areas of navy above.
